Responsibilities       
Responsibilities: To take orders for monthly classifieds for Online and Print products and administer sales department with various reporting. Facilitates inbound classified sales and some outbound calls. Sends out insertion orders and proposals. Ensures accuracy of all ads placed. Works with accounting department to maximize collections.

Cross-training in all aspects of the sales department. Needs to be able to help out whenever needed. Generate reports for sales department and display reps. Maintains positive relationship with advertisers.

Qualifications
Qualifications: Telephone sales ability. Needs to be able to multi-task and be very organized.
General Knowledge and Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, Database use, generates own contracts and proposals.

The Recording Academy is a membership association of music professionals that is the leading force in honoring, celebrating and advancing music and is widely known as the producers of the GRAMMY Awards.

We are seeking a qualified individual to manage day-to-day production of a bi-annual magazine, annual telecast program book, Web content and various collateral print materials. The Senior Manager will help oversee three in-house staff -- including two editors and a traffic coordinator -- and a team of freelance writers, as well as work regularly with other company depts. to procure content and approvals. The Senior Manager role will be to ensure on-schedule, quality execution of department projects.

Responsibilities include: Manage editorial calendar for various print and Web projects; maintain deadlines and workflow schedules for projects within and outside the Creative Services department; copyedit print and Web content from various departments for a wide range of projects; help develop content for various publications; write and edit copy, press releases, and various communications collateral; manage and traffic copy for various projects (Web, print); check for in-house style, fact-check, copyedit; maintain company style books. Amend and update as needed, enforce style across company's print and Web content; assist various (non-production savvy) departments with print projects, from beginning to end.
