2008 Maggie Call for Judges
Dear Publishing Professional,
The Western Publications Association (WPA) is looking for qualified magazine publishing professionals to judge the 57th annual Maggie entries. This year, judging will take place over a 2-day period and we hope you will set aside time from your busy schedule to help judge these prestigious awards.
NEW! This year, we also invite our judges to join us Monday evening (before the event), from 6-7:30 pm, at the hotel, for an informal reception, where you can meet other judges, and ask any questions you may have about the judging process, OR JUST RELAX AND ENJOY THE VIEW! We hope you will join us.
Judging Dates
Judging will take place Tuesday and Wednesday,, March 4-5, Marina del Rey Hotel, Marina del Rey, CA, approximately 15 minutes from airport, on the water! We hope you will join us for one or two days, (beginning at 8 am) to judge this important event. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided. Contact the Marina Del Rey Hotel at 310-301-1000 for a special Western Publications Association Maggie Judging Room Rate of $130.00 per night (City View), $135.00 (Marina View) or $140.00 (Deluxe). These special room rates expire 7 days prior to event..

The 57th Annual WPA 2006 Maggie Awards® will be presented Friday, May 2, at the Westin Hotel at Los Angeles Airport. Be sure to make your reservations early for this exciting evening. (Registration available online.)
