The 2012 MAGGIE Call for Entries is will be available for view and/or download by the end of October. MAGGIE Registration opens on November 1st.

NEW THIS YEAR! You’ll have 131 categories to choose from. In answer to many of your requests, we have divided 37 categories by circulation, to better group small-to-medium from larger publications.  You will also find 15 digital and web categories, PLUS 9 NEW categories for Social Media, Blogs, and Mobile Technology. THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS JANUARY 18, 2012.

You’ll have access to MAGGIE registration and entry forms 24/7 in a secure, online environment, with easy-to-follow instructions, FAQs, category selection, upload requirements, judging criteria and online payment. Tearsheets and mounted artwork are no longer required! (Registration opens on November 1st.)

Publishing Companies may take advantage of the following incentives:

Join WPA or renew your membershipby December 31st, 2011 and receive 50% off your first MAGGIE entry! (You must enter more than one category to qualify for this discount.)

In addition, Register for the All-NEW WPA Media & Publishing 3.0 Conference before January 18, 2012 and receive $50 off for early registration PLUS  50% off your second MAGGIE entry! (You must enter more than two categories to qualify for this discount.)

MAGGIE Eligibility

Entries are limited to print, web and digital publications, tabloids and newsletters published west of the Mississippi River, or published for distribution only in the states west of the Mississippi River (Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming). Deadline for entries is January 18, 2012.
