2010 Maggie Winners Announced
Los Angeles, CA, May 7, 2010–The Western Publishing Association held its 59th Annual Maggie Awards, honoring excellence in editorial and design of both print and electronic publications in the western United States.
A larger than expected enthusiastic audience of publishing media professionals were on hand at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel at Los Angeles International Airport as 77 Maggie awards were presented.
Top awards went to: Imbibe magazine for Best Overall Publication/Consumer, Government Technology magazine for Best Overall Publication/Trade, Scrubs magazine for Best New Publication/Trade & Consumer, and Tusk magazine for Best Student Publication.
Other Maggies went to: Yoga Journal magazine for Best Health & Fitness/Consumer, Laguna Beach magazine for Best City & Metropolitan/Consumer, Sactown magazine for Best Overall Publication Design/Consumer, Coast magazine for Best Regional & State/Consumer, OC Weekly for Best Tabloid/consumer, Nailpro magazine for Best Health, Beauty & Fitness/Trade, Emergency Management magazine for Best Public Safety/Trade, Scouting magazine for Best Special Interest/Trade and Private Clubs magazine for Best Association magazine.
