The Western Publishing Association (WPA), producer of the annual Maggie Awards®, will honor the winners of each of the Maggie college categories with a scholarship and/or grant. Maggie winners will be announced the night of the annual Maggie Awards® Banquet, May 7, 2010, at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel at Los Angeles Airport.
Finalists in each category are notified the week after judging is complete. All finalists are encouraged to attend the banquet, to honor “The Best in the West” in magazine editorial, design and promotion. Winners in the 2010 Maggie College competition will earn either a $1000 Scholarship and/or Grant (in addition to a Maggie). In addition, WPA will pay for one representative from the magazine to attend the banquet, as guests of the WPA, and reimburse the following expenses:
